Default Sennheiser PMX200 vs Grado iGrado. Thoughts?

Not getting very far at Head-FI. Anyone have some comments or thoughts about these cans? I can't make my mind up as far as which one is right for me. I'm also open to other suggestions, looking for a comfortable set of cans to use whilst lying down. I try to stay away from earbuds etc.

I never heard of the former model (from my experience, the low-end Sennheisers are "bleh"), but here's my experience with the iGrado, which I got to hear recently at a meet:

Quote:
iGrado: Straight out of my iPod Classic, it sound thick and muddled in the low end; mids were recessed, and the highs were sliced off even moreso than the SE530.
So I would try to look harder for a nice (portable, right?) headphone instead of settling for either one of your two choices. The Sennheiser PX 100 sounds a bit better than the iGrado, but I still wouldn't pay anything for it.

Doesn't have to be portable. Just need them to be relatively small and comfortable. Will be used for listening to tunes in bed. My HD580s are just way too big. Thanks for your thoughts.

What's your budget? Heck, for all we know, you may end up with the BOSE at this rate. Nothing wrong with that, except you could probably get more kick for your money's worth.

Well I didn't want to spend a hell of a lot, like 75-100ish.
