Default Replacing internal Speaker Wiring??

What i want to know is would it make a difference to replace the stock wiring inside the speaker cabinets to some better quality cable? Would this require soldering and is it worth the time and effort. Ive got a pair of Mission M74 and ive heard replacing internal wiring in speakers can help.

the manufacturer put in the wire that is suited for those speakers. if you need a bigger load for bigger speaker then you use a bigger better wire, but stock is to spec with stock

-/edit
unless of course the speakers are old enough to have corrosion on the copper or leads. then you should replace em. but i don't think you have speakers that old ^^

I agree with Reista. No need to unless they are old.

Not entirely true, as in my pair of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers, replacing the speak wire helped immensly. If you have the ability to do it, go for it. No soldering is required, but to make a better connection it is recommended.

Usually where i see the problem in speaker systems is undervolting, overvolting, and ohmage issues. if your using the amp that the manufacturer specified then great, or one like it then great but make sure it is to the specific recommendations and NO CLIPPING

he isnt using some sissy multimedia speaker system =p he is using loudspeaker (which he himself said sounded great already) loudspeakers are generally of a higher quality as they are usually made to last longer. as seen by my 1974 Advent loudspeakers.

yes, replacing the wire with some high gauge oxygen free copper wire or silver wire will give your speakers more "character" so to speak. I would do it. and to all saying "stock is fine because it is made for the speakers" are wrong. the stock air filter on your car is fine, but an after market one sure gives it an increase in horsepower!

you cant compare the two. the gauge wire should be just fine and only the leads might oxidize which would be pretty minimal in effect. Air intakes are totally different cause the stock they give you is normally crap to being with ^^. wire is not the same.

These are the speakers i have

..Seems to be some mixed views..I guess if i get some good quality cable, theres no harm in swapping the old out..im sure it wont be a degrade in sound quality.
