It sucks though after prolonged use the hole sorta opens up more, well the ones without buttons, and on rare occasions Mr. Dingaling decides to sneak out because of it.

Here are some for you to compare... right around your price range, I haven't tried any of these, but the reviews are great:

Thanks for the links, still looking for some more info from people that actually know about earbuds though. I certainly don't.

Well, Do you want earbuds or in-ears?
Earbuds sit on the outside of the ear while in-ears go inside the ear canal and are much more isolating.

Also music tastes and how you are going to use it = important.

I don't have a preference as to IEMs or earbuds, but comfort is pretty important. They will most likely be used for late-night listening in bed, I don't want them to be irritating to wear if I turn on my side or something. Might also use them on walks etc, that kind of thing. Going to be listening to a variety of tunes but I enjoy deep, tight bass and clear highs. I'm not expecting too much for $100 but I do want something above-average. Thanks.

Some vibes will do you just fine. RE0s are all the crazy right now, but generally work better with an amp. Someone else reviewed a pair of nuforce ne7m's I believe which should be warmer.
