Nice to see you decided to make the jump. I don't use Meedio for DVR, I use it for everything else. I use Beyond TV for my DVR. It supports dual tuners. I use Meedio for playing ISO and ISO movies, tv shows, weather, netflix and music. I also use Meedio for watching tv shows that I have downloaded. I can launch Beyond TV from withing Meedio.

dhrandy, I'm having some issues that are driving me nuts with meedio/playmee/daemon tools/powerDVD. All I want to do is play normal DVDs (I'll worry about Blu Rays later) in an .iso from meedio. I've googled and have found some help, like yer thread at avsforum, but the issue I'm having now I can find answers to. So...
I've loaded the playmee plugin
configured it to load powerDVD
parameters set to e:\ {queue} (e is my virtual drive)
enabled quote support
DVD path to Drive
have tried different conditions but didn't change anything
have offline support and autoplay enabled
in the advanced tab its green to the daemon tools .exe, mount and unmount are the default settings
e is checked as the virtual drive
not using any search paths

In daemon tools I have securty disabled

So what happens is when i try to play the iso from inside meedio it comes up with an error saying something like "error in command line switch" which I belive is a Daemon Tools error. I've spent 3 hours trying to figure it out with no luck. So please tell me you have some ideas Thanks!

What version of Daemon tools are you using and does the ISO play with the default Meedio player?

Edit: Also make sure playmee looks like this.

I'm not sure at this moment what version but I'm pretty sure I downloaded the newest one, though the default directory is program files\daemon tools\ not program files\d-tools\ like yours is there. is that an idication i may have an older version? How would I set up playmee to play iso with the meedio player?

Select Meedio as the default player.

Whenever I attempt to install Meedio I get an error that says: "Meedioshostwizard.exe has stopped working" I'm attempting to use Meedio 1.41 which I downloaded from here. I'm sure this is the correct one, it's very strange. Ever seen, or heard of this?

The best bet is to sign up over at the meedios.com forum and ask the question there. I've never seen that problem. They may be able to help better than me.

cool, well I downloaded that older version of DT that you provided and now everything is working smoothly, thanks! Time to try meeflix now
