Hey dhrandy, I've recently been working on building an HTPC and I have followed your advice on getting Meedio. Everything works flawlessly except for MovieNight. I installed the plugin, configured it correctly (or so I thought), but whenever I try and launch it I get this error. I renamed the module to Movies, just so there is no confusion. When I was using the default Meedio movie module, there was no issue with playing the movie. I get the synopsis text but no thumbnail image downloaded, but that isn't a big issue.

Anyway, here is a picture of the error, do you have any idea how to fix it?

that error is b/c the default tag to sort the movies uses "SortTitle" and your library doesn't have it. I would recommend running MovieNightExtras importer on your library to create the SortTitle as well as grab other info you may want. Or you can just get SortTitle.

Please post any problems you have w/ specific modules/plugins over at MeediOS

I need to give this another try. I messed with it a while back but could not seem to get it to work right (playing dvd's saved as .iso). I had downloaded all the stuff, but they would not mount right.
I have Vista 64 now, I will need to see if I can get it going. I basically have a HTPC doing nothing right now (well, it is folding with notfreds diskless folder).

You can also try posting your problems over at the Meedios.com forums. People are good with answering questions there.

Yea, I have been there, just had a lot going on at the time and was hoping for a very simple way (like an all in 1 program without having to add plug ins and such). Once I have more time I will get into it.
