So I'm using Beyond TV and need a remote. I already have an MCE remote which BTV recognizes, but, the problem is so does MCE. So whenever I attempt to control BTV MCE pops up.
Is there a way to suppress MCE all together?

Open the task manager and kill the process "ehtray.exe". Find the file (I think its in C:\windows\ehome) and RENAME it to "ehtray.old" so that it cannot load during the next windows startup. You cannot simply disable the startup item, or it will just repopulate itself.

MCE will not respond to any command from my MCE remote, except start which has no function in BTV. rep+
