Default Is my Sig HTPC really okay??

I just got my Signature HTPC in yesterday, and i'll be putting windows on it today. i'm just starting to have regrets that it might not do everything i want it to?? i've never built one of these, and i'm not sure exactly what to expect? I just need some reassurance i guess....BE HONEST!? Tell me how to fix it if you think i should add anything.

My goals:
-Watch blu-ray! (via my Lite-On iHES-106 blu-ray/dvd rw)
-watch TV (i have a hauppauge 1800 MCE)
-Rip movies to eventually have an ALL digital movie collection
-Stream media (SD & HD) to my Xbox 360
-internet browsing
-word processing when needed for school (just in case, but i have a macbook for that)

anything else that is a MUST HAVE for now, or should i be able to accomplish my goals w/ my current setup?

I built this on a budget/birthday build(BIRTHDAY today!), so im kinda broke now, lol.

thnx!

I am assuming the Radeon 3200 is integrated? If so, get a HD4350, and you should be able to do blu-ray just fine. I don't think your integrated can cut it.

That computer will be more than enough for what you've listen there.
The only things I would change is putting in a 3450 for hybrid crossfire.

That 780G is actually quite powerful and will do Bluray pretty well. I would just do a video card to drop the CPU load.

You should be alright with that. I'm doing something similar with my PC. Only thing is that you might want to get 2 more GB of RAM, boost to 4GB. Vista is a RAM hog, so if you're using that as an HTPC, you might want more RAM. Other than that, it should work nicely.

For HTPC stuff 2Gb should be plenty. He's not gaming on it.

Have you ever built an HTPC before?

I was going to say the same for you, but I also see your next post. Personally, I think what he's got listed in his signature will do just fine. Why does he need to decrease CPU load? Blu Ray will use what, 48-50% CPU usage? Its not like it'll hurt anything .

To the OP:
What you've got listed in your sig will be MORE than enough for what you've listed. 4GB of RAM would be nice, but I doubt you'll use it for what you've listed. Seriously, the stuff in your sig rig is absolutely PERFECT for HTPC use (I didn't check case, but that's a personal preference really). Be happy with it . It shall treat you very nicely for what the machine is built for.

The only reason I say 4GB is because when I had 2GB in mine, TV and DVD playback skipped a little bit. When I jacked it up to 4GB, it worked fine. Then again, it might have been either a Phenom or ATI Driver bug. The CPU he's using should work nicely.
