What are good low-profile coolers?
The most popular suggested cooler seems to no longer be available. Need 1366..
What else works? Is the "rifle" Xiggy 1284 any good? Looks to be as tall as the regular one.. The Zalman looks nice, but isn't at the Egg or Microcenter. What are the HTPC people using? ..a

its pretty small, and quiet if wanna b used for a HTCP

For 1366, there aren't that many choices yet...

To answer most of your questions: (1) a fridge cannot cool a PC (2) 64-bit OS for over 3.4GB (3) If a PCIe card fits, it should work (4) Resolution, not screen size (5) If you have a question, it is not news (6) Report, not respond to Spam (7) Single-Rail/Non-Modular PSUs are not always better than Multi-Rail/Modular

This CoolJag doesn't look bad, for the money. Very similar in style to the CoolerMaster my HTPC is using (but which isn't LGA 1366 compatible).

I couldn't find alot of low profile CPU coolers for the i7, but I did find a couple server coolers which are low profile. Maybe give those a shot

The Noctua NH-C12P and the Coolermaster Geminii S are probably the best low-profile coolers out there, but I'm not sure if they support 1366. I would e-mail Noctua about it, they are very helpful most of the time.
