htpc build
ok when i upgrade around xmas im turning my sig rig into an htpc sans case, hdd, and optical drive.
__________________right now for my idea for an htpc i have another 320GB hdd plus a blu-ray drive plus an antec 300. thoughs and i know its a little overkill

Sounds good
 i get plenty of use out of my HTPC. Only thing i would change is going for a smaller case kinda like this one:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119195 this is pretty much the smallest case that you can squeeze a full sized board/PS into, it ALOT like my current sig rig's case. of course this is more of a preference thing though

that case wont work because i will have my dk in my htpc.

It'll make a great HTPC and a good gaming rig aswell. But if you decide to game at 1080p I'm not sure if the 9600GT will be able to make out all the games.
