what about this mb and cpu
ok so i was thinking of building a htpc. i already have 4 gbs of ddr2 800mhz a case and hard drive and dvd drive, i also have a 8500 gt so do you guys think this mb and cpu be good for me?

Pick up a cheap fan controller.
__________________Or you could replace all your fans with quiet ones. Edit: Nvm. I skimmed though the thread. I wouldn't get the first gen Athlons. Pick up a cheap Athlon 2 x2 240/245/250.
