Default I need assistance setting up a remote for Media Center.
I just ordered a Harmony 520 from the Egg and I want to use to control Windows Media Center on my PC. My mobo has a IR header and I don't need a TV tuner card or a remote. Is there anywhere I can buy just a ir receiver with the pigtail to plug into the header? If so, is there any software I'll need to get it going?

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but I do own a Media Center Extender, and so have often needed answers for the darned thing. A couple of places you might wantt to check out, in case you don't know about them, are The Green Button, the Windows MC Team Sandbox, and the Australian Media Center Community. Hope you can find some good answers, and sorry I couldn't just answer your ?? :-)
