So, I am in university and my chair sucks and hurts my back if I sit in it too long. Because of this I turn my monitor so I can sit on my bed while watching TV / movies. I would like to be able to control my comp from my bed so I don't need to get up to play the next song / next movie / episode of a show.

I think I will be fine software wise, but I am not sure about the hardware. I have:
- no WiFi
- a cheepo bluetooth usb adapter which I can probably get working.
- max of $20 to spend on a remote / adapter if needed

If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

quality english my friend. im just busting your chops, but yes it will. read the customer reviews. i considered that same remote myself. it just seems a little flimsy, but I have carpeted floors, so not too worried if I got it.

Hopefully there is a CC near you. I know its $29 but I use it and it works fine. It comes with a USB IR reciever also.
