Default Looking for TV tuner
Alright so here is the issue, I live on campus so I'm going from school to home constantly. at home i'm using time warner and possibly will be using their HD tv / dvr box thing (sorry I have no specifics on model number nor how I use it as I don't watch tv much...) and will most likely use a coax cable from the dvr box to my computer. Is this an issue? would this card work fine?

that card would work perfectly fine. I would suggest the 2250 version for the dual tuner.
