Make sure you get AnyDVD HD if you want to handle blu-ray or HD-DVD. It also handles regular DVD, of course.

It depends on the settings you designate for your 1 click DVD program.

Would you happen to have a particular one click program in mind? Because I'm generalizing.

The one I linked, DVD Rip, it automates DVD shrink. DVD shrink is a really good program for ripping dvds, DVD Rip just automates the program through a batch file that you set up with predetermined values.

Most don't . Yeah, if you set it up right, anything can be good. What I was referring to was programs like SUPER and Magic DVD ripper and such.

I've tried a few but ultimately chose AnyDVD as well. It isn't free but is cheap and WELL worth the price. I use it a lot and have ZERO complaints. They have updates for it all the time too.... great support. It isn't quite "one click" but very, very close.
