Default Newegg Combo Deal ~$72 [mobo, CPU, GPU]

Link here.

Great deal with the MIRs. I wish I had the cash...

I did a little research on the board/CPU combo, and it looks OK. The CPU on the board is "just two Atom dies placed onto the same package." I just read this page.

Good luck catching this deal before 1pm when they change the shell shocker.

It is a decent deal, but since the board is a micro atx (and not mini) this deal isn't all that great. You could get a cheap micro atx board with a dual core-celeron for about the same price.

Exactly what I was thinking. I would be all over this if it was mini ITX form factor, otherwise it isn't that great of a deal.

I'm surprised to see any atom board w/ a pciex16 slot. Sucks it's not mITX tho.

It'd fit a nice niche for someone looking to build a low-power torrenter, DLbox, file server, router, web browser, etc etc. Basically anyone looking for something they can leave on 24/7 w/o hurting the power bill too much this is a good deal for them.

Not a bad deal at all.

Yeah, I would have snapped it up if it were mini. With the price though, you would have gotten the video card for free. Oh wells, just though I'd share it (for those of you who don't watch Newegg).

Okay, so I guess I'm out of touch. Where's a good micro ATX and celly for the same price?

The cheapest LGA775 motherboard on newegg.

Cheapest dual-core CPU.

Cheapest graphics card.

Runs you about $106 (w/ MIR) plus S&H. I'm liking the $72 dollar deal. Now, this is only one newegg, so there is probably a deal cheaper elsewhere.
