Default Bios for P5W DH - 1401, P5B Del - 0614

Hope not a double post. Not sure if they are beta or not though.

Bios Updates

ASUS P5B Deluxe WIFI/AP: 0614

1 Support DDR2 SO DIMM
2 Support DDR2 double side X16
3 Update Marvell 8001 and 8056 Lan option rom from 5.16.3.3 to 5.17.1.3
4 Fix Kentsfield B0 stepping CPU can't adjust ratio issue
5 Support Conroe / Kentsfield ratio overclocking higher than default
6 Fix CPU Fan Profile mode not correct after system shutdown



P5W DH: 1401

1 Fixed EIST select item is disappeared if used Conroe1066 QPHV 2.93G CPU set ratio to 6X issue.
2 Fixed Kentsfield L2 cache show error issue.
3 Fixed no detect JMicron HDD in Windows XP install screen.
4 Fixed cna't enter crashfree screen when interrupt EZ Flash 2 update bios issue
5 Fixed JMicron JMB36X controller shows with yellow bang in device manager issue
6 Update new JMicron option from 1.06.52 to 1.06.56a version.
7 Fixed CPU Vcore show "Auto" issue.
8 Add CPU "Speedstep" & C1E & "Vcore" note string.
9 Support FSB overclocking to 550MHz.

errr. No point into that, you can't even get past 420 without mod, what they need to do is add more voltage to the vmch first

also i coun't find this bios anywhere in xtremesystem. I'll wait till someone try it first

I am assuming this is a voltage change...because the bios already goes up that high...hmmm at least I think it does.

Mikey do you happen to know of any differences between the x6800 and the e6600/e6700 besides the multi? I have seen overclocks on the x6800 ranging from only 3.5 (air) all the way to 5 (Cascade)...

the p5b deluxe can go up to 1.8

differences are stock speed . Lol they all overclocked about the same, haven't seen one with a really high speed........yet. The reason that the 6800 is better is because of the 13x multi (but i don't think your board allow unlocked multi upward yet). So getting one would pretty much be pointless also
