Haven't had a chance to test yet, but I saw on the asus ftp server for the p5pl2 a new bios...
ftp://ftp.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket775/P5PL2/ No changelog etc.... EDIT: Darn Should be in BIOS section... mod please move

Well it's rubbish... no new features, still cant run my ram at speed and ended up with audio stuttering (still using onboard sound).
At least we know they're working on a new bios - its just not ready for release.

not sure if its the new bios but im running right now at 3.847 ghz.
__________________gonna be getting another stick of mem to run dual chan soon and abetter cooler since im still running stock air, and one case fan heh. not sure how stable i am right now tho i just booted into windows with it at these settings.

So have you actually gained something from this bios?? IIRC you were running at 3.7 last time. Torture that bugger and see if it survives overnight!
I can POST at 4Ghz (266fsb) and start loading the os but it goes belly up quickly. No matter what tweaks I do I cant get over 3.54 and 630.8 mem(overnight dual prime stable). I still think the mobo limit is the northbridge.... I should look up the 945G specs if I have the time. I reverted to the 0801 bios and everything is back to normal.
