yes you should definitely update to the latest bios as often as you can, especially on a mobo that new. new bios bring better compatibility and performance. im not sure which one is best for your mobo but the newest ones are usually better

There should be a way to save your BIOS settings. On my board there are several save slots when I hit either F11 or F12, can't remember which. Just save your settings, and then reload them after following the directions for updating your BIOS.
Your OC will still work, and will most likely still be stable. I would test it for maybe an hour in Orthos just to be sure nothing drastically changed.

NO ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THE LIVE UPDATE THAT RUNS FROM WINDOWS !!!!!!! IT WILL CORRUPT THE BIOS !!!!!!! ONLY do the BIOS update using a floppy, or flash drive. Go To The Asus Site for the Directions on how to do it. Or read the USER MANUAL that is on the CD that came with your motherboard, the directions on how to do it with the floppy are on there.....

Live updates have worked for some, but I have also heard of others who had problems like BIOS corruption.
IMO, it's actually easier to use a flash drive than to install an extra program on my computer. Just download the new BIOS to a flash drive and follow the instructions in your manual or from the website on how to boot into their flashing utility and update the BIOS. I did this for my board like yesterday or something and it was pretty easy.
