it CAN be true. it depends on your motherboard.
i had an old gigabyte motherboard whereby after flashing my bios i could adjust my cpu:ram ratio which i couldnt do before. it also then contained a graphics booster. which...when my gfx card was under load would overclock it by about 5% to give me that little bit of extra FPS. however. it DOES depend on your motherboard like i said. some mobo's do also acquire better system compatibility. eg. the motherboard im on now did not have 100% support for my E6750 CPU when i first bought it.

No, but it can fix issues hindering your overclock, thus allowing you to make the computer go faster.

Perhaps,....it depends on your motherboard and what BIOS you currently have. That particular board manufacturer released a BIOS to support 1333 fsb.

Yes, it can help with an overclock. I just flashed a RH BIOS on my TFORCE and I'm able to be stable at a higher clock...which is always awesome.

i just realised you also have a gigabyte mobo.
the best way apart from enhanced overclocking options is go into bios and set the graphics booster to TURBO. best of luck

well if your going to set the bios to turbo i dont recommend enabling any auto-overclocking options in ATI.
there may be a conflict and your system wont overclock that set percentage but an additional percentage. if it auto-overclocks too high you might get temperature issues. the advantage with the bios auto-clocking booster is it is instant. The ATI tool requires monitoring of the system to react. As all calculations first run through the BIOS it is more effective to set it in the bios. plus. you dont have to do anything, it does all the work for you. i only recommend overclocking with the ATI tool if you want much higher clock speeds and you have stable temperatures and cooling.
