Default How do i update THIS bios

Hi all,

I have a Intel D845GVSR board....it is a emachine seabreeze/t2. The bios on the computer is an emachine p07 and i need to update it to p09. I've talked to intel / emachine / gateway but still they will not help me to update. I want to update this bios in windows but worst comes I'll update with floppy. Can ANYONE tell me or show me how to update this bios? I have the p09 bios in bin format but no matter what I try it won't flash. Heck i've even tried the Intel & Gateway flashes and they won't flash....i really hate this board but i got to fix it for my job.

I really don't want to desolder the chip and use the manual flash machine.

The p09 bios was copied from a working emachine and I would like to copy it onto other seabreeze boards but I cannot. I tried the INTEL link above but it won't flash keeps telling me the board is different. I have reason to believe if it did flash the board would of had an intel splash screen instead of an emachine and I need emachine. This is the most screwed up board I have ever come in contact with and the manufactures don't help at all. Please any further help would be greatly appreciated.

Unforunately I've been to that link many times before while searching for an answer and the links provided have not yet yielded a solution. Thanks again for your suggestion.
