Default Help me overclock my comp

Hi
Just got this new comp and really need to overclock it as it only running at 1.6.It is factory built by iqon.Here are some components i know about:
Motherboard:Gigabyte 945 GZH-S2
Memory 1 gig DDR PC2-530
CPU:Intel 2140 Dual Core
I have no idea what i am doing so if you can explain things simply for me i would be very Grateful.All i know is you do it in Bios

Well, If you have no idea what your doing, I would suggest doing nothing until you understand the concept of overclocking. You can learn a lot more here.

Yes but it can't be that hard,Someone should have some setting's for bios,i just wanna get it to 2.0ghz or maybe a bit more,I need it faster to run my new game which needs 1.8 i believe.I have been told to set FSB at 315 mhz but is there somrthing else i shud change please please help me

setting the FSB higher ona chip with a max multiplier of 8 is the only thing you can do to get it up there. i would recommend a 266 fsb though, i beleive an e 2140 should run at stock voltages at 2128mhz.

might also want to look into setting the memory multiplier to 1:1 to keep your memory around its stock clocks.
