No it does not make a difference, same volts going to the CPU will yeild same OC and heat output. As for the new CPU loadline calibration it does do a difference, a good one. I had a very tiny vdroop of 1.280v idle to 1.264v load, now with this new feature the vcore does not budge at all, it just sits a 1.264v
Nothing is better than stable power, I love this feature. GIGABYTE does it again

I did notice more stable power, however it didn't change the amount of voltage the CPU needed at load. Perhaps it made a difference for you in some way, however for me, although the voltage setting is much lower in the BIOS, what was required at the actual CPU was the same. Chances are your 1C drop is ambient temp changes, however perhaps not.JR

If you also have this memory problem with the F9 bios, which I think everyone will from what I have been hearing, please report your complaints to the below thread I started on the official Giga-byte forum: http://forums.tweaktown.com/showthread.php?t=25765 JR

Memtest stable for 12 hours with Kingston value RAM thats dying slowly.. but its stable. They just aren't clocking as high as they once did unless I sky rocket the vdimm. I just hope my new OCZ 4GB kit works well.

Been using F9 since it's release, no problems so far. They could have unlucky boards, there could be a bug with F9 bios and their specific type of RAM, their RAM could be going, the northbridge may be going, or we just got lucky boards. Could also be misseated components. The list goes on.
