Default Asus Maximus Extreme - XP Safe mode?
Am I missing something really simple here?

Windows XP = F8 for safe mode.
Maximus Extreme = F8 for Boot device selection.

How the hell do I get to safe mode?!

It doesn't clear though, it goes through the POST check. CPU,RAM,SATA then BAMM! XP logo.

Then I would recommend upgrading your fingers to something faster then what you have now. That, or just overclock them to type faster.
