P5k deluxe G0 ultra extreme and s flex why no overclock?
well i just baught my new rig (really h8ted my dell inspiron 1501 laptop) so anyway i baught this assuming i could overclock -:
q6600 G0 slacr
p5k deluxe
crucial ballistix pc-6400
8800 gts 512
ultra extreme with 1600 rpm s flex fan
so i assumed i could overclock with this rig but sadly no, in the bios if i change anything e.g turn to manual, change the fsb it wont stick i have to reset the bios or else it wont post when clearly my cooler can handle this, im getting 30c ambients and 20c idle temps, i have reseated the heatsink severel times, flashed the bios , oh and btw changing the ram all sticks just not any changes to the proccessor any advice helpfull i am a n00b
