Exclamation P5K latest bios no overclock??:@

got my new rig, flashed to latest bios overcome all the other problems tht come with building yourself , it seems tht im able to change the settings in the bios but and boots but it does not register when i check it with crystal cpu or cpuz all latest, the settings do stick but do not register with cpuz or in fact if they have actually change. HELPPPP!!!

Is it BIOS 0901? I just flashed to this BIOS and I seem to be having problems. My RAM wont post with 900 Mhz 2T, 4-4-4-12, 2.20 volts which is plenty of volts and good anough timings for those settings.

And I got a random BSOD. Im gonna keep messing with it though and then i'll probably be flashing back if something doesnt give. Seems to be very weird.

i know thts why i didnt but sumtymes its close to being not worth it + how do i do tht without a floppy?

Use the flashing tool from ASUS' site - I can't remember the name of it since I just used EZ-Flash in the BIOS

its the latest one of asus website, i want to flash back to origonal but i dont have a floppy drive, also the new bios has new menus it jus seems theyve put it out in a different way to mess with people its annoying maybe theyre thinking hey go buy and x38 x48 780i board :@ why carnt building your own pc be simple no!! it makes you think get a dell save the trouble,

this also happend with the older bios tht came with the board btw it was b grade and i got a 2ghz clock with tht 3d mark showed it as 3ghz jus not cpuz or others i just need help flashing back to the older safe bios and help with overclocking possibly rma precedure

I found 0404 to be the most stable one - try flash to that one.
