Just installed an XFX 780i. No BIOS updates yet, noticed EVGA has already released P02.
Since these are both reference, one would imagine that the EVGA BIOS would work in an XFX board. Anyone tried this yet???

Hi, mate! I wouldn't dream of that ever working. They probably have their own sort of copyprotection on that sort of thing. You don't want to try and flash your bios finding out that it DID flash but now won't work. That is an instant RMA right there. No clear-cmos is going to fix that

It should theoretically be possible. You can do it with the video card BIOSes on reference cards.
