try making a bootable disk.. i think you can use NERO if you have it.

Next step..Get a floppy for cases like this!!

First make sure the .bin file isn't in any folder on the CD.

Boot off the CD... Run awdflash.exe navigate to 1203.bin (on the CD) Flash.

You might have to type (whatever the CD drive is, i.e "D" or "E") D:/awdflash.exe

when you boot off the CD, can you run the awdflash.exe? If so, what drive options does it give you to look for the .bin file? If it is a USB CDROM, just make sure BOOT OTHER DEVICE in BIOS is enabled.

this cant get it ti work.

all i get is invalid drive specfacshon that's it all the time.dont know what else to put it..

i bet its because i have a usb cdrom drive.

by the way i dont see eny awdfash.exe.

what i did was...when i made the cd... there was a cd image.
so i put the adwflash.exe and the 1103.bin inside the ISO and saved it the burnd it.


i bet i did it rong.

the only 2 that work is a:/ and b:/ thats no others work.

Buy a floppy drive. It comes in useful not just for BIOS flashes, but for memtest as well. And is cheap (they're a fiver on scan). You can get a multi-card reader that reads not just floppies, but memory cards as well, for £15 usually.

Should be able to get blank floppies from a high street computer shop, and a drive too if not too expensive - save on waiting for it to arrive.
