well i am back again ...i got the awdflash to work but when i tried to
use the 1103 bios all i get is ........basically its saying you cant down grade the bios....now i have done all these things with no luck. now what.....tuck ages to get awdflash to work. now this. bios ROM incompatible or something.

Try the 1203 BIOS. It is far better than 1103

Try flashing with the /f flag. That will force it to flash, regardless of old BIOS version.

still no go.........same thing happens you cant downgrade cos it will not let me. sorry about this going on about it all time but its doing my head in.

@nigel check out this thread on the ASUS forum.
BIOS HELP EDIT: hailscott posted this already A lot of the guys reported problems with the switch. They all had to come up with a certain version of awdflash and the BIOS to get the desired results. For me, personally, I had to use awdflash version 1.18 NOT the newest one and the 1203 BIOS. Also try resetting the BIOS completely. First disconnect your power supply, reset the jumper, then hold the power button for ~60 seconds. Reconnect your power enter BIOS to set the boot device then restart the PC and try the BIOS switch then. That is what worked for me. I could not get the CD thing to work so I had to borrow a floppy from a work PC.

bad news people....the P5N32 is now in heaven.
just as it was flashing the bios the computer locked harth way thru the update... i could not do anything but wach...for 1 hour...wich noting happend. 100% dead bios..never mind gives a good exuse to get a new bord lol.. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP...YOU DID YOUR BEST BUT ..WELL poop HAPPENDS... so now im on my toshiba satalaite a 200...if you rember last year you helpt me get the sata drivers on a xp disk...still no problems.lol.. I WELL BE BACK WITH NEW MOBO. LOL. till then ill continu to help people.
