gigabyte ds3 3.3 qflash freeze

New to Overclock.net
|
gigabyte ds3 3.3 qflash freeze
trying to update bios to ver 12 and during qflash it freezes after reading file. have the autoexec, f12 file and flash exe on floppy. what am i missing? tried hitting end for qflash and through bios

there are a few DS3s, do you mean 965, p35, or what?
It is my understanding, that form the bios qflash (f12 i think?) you only need the bios file on a floppy or usb key, and it updates from there. edit, as a last resort, if it still isnt working, you can try the gigabyte bios utility in windows. Ive used it a few times with success, but i wouldnt use it exclusively.

P965, i have tried the qflash in bios but not from windows i guess i can try that.
