Well i tried almost whole night, ep35 has "virtual dual bios" not "real dual bios". That is bad man... I believe mine only option is hot flash, but on mine old board chip is 512 kb not 1024 as in new bios chips. So I don't think that I will be able to flash it. who knows, if I do something with it i will post it.

So is there only one chip? I dont think so, but I could be wrong. I think my P35 has two chips, so should yours. Hmm, although I am not sure since you do have the L model which is budget
And I think you may be wrong, your board has a 1MB BIOS file correct? If so it would be the 1024 chip. I think they are all the same, of course some have two chips and some do not but they all are 1024 (8mbit) chips. You may not be able to use the method I pm'd you if you only have one physical chip, but you should be able to hot flash it if you have another chip. Or you could always Message this ebay seller and see if he has the Chip you need and then replace it. He sells MANY. Here is one of his Gigabyte BIOS pages >>> http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=380082964463 And his page incase the above link does not work for you >> http://myworld.ebay.com/biosdepot/

Well I examined complete board and there is one chip, as U said it is a budget board. I wrote already in post that bios in ep35 is 1024 kb, but mine old board 8I945PLGE-RH has 512 chip and I don't know will I be able to flash it, coz i saw in some post that FLASH895 program will not allow me to flash bigger chip on board with a smaller chip.
And thx for links! |

Sorry for my confusion! Yes, I kept thinking you meant the P35-DS3L which has the larger BIOS. So ya, you can't flash in a larger one.
Did you have a floppy Already connected and set as first boot? If so you can blind flash it
