Default Overclocking P5W DH Deluxe (E6700) Problem

I have a problem where I can't change the frequency from 266. I have it set on manual overclocking and all other settings are available. Any suggestions?

I attempted to use Asus AI Booster to set the frequency to 366(x10) as recommended in various articles, which showed in BIOS, but when I attempt to start up I get a message "Overclocking failed".

I really need help.

EDIT: Also how do I set the RAM modifier from 2.00 to 2.66, can't work that one out either.

Sorry, haven't had much experience overclocking.

My system setup is:
E6700
768mb 8800GTX
150gb Raptor 10000rpm HDD
Asus P5W DH Deluxe
Anter P51B Case
WD 300gb 7200rpm HDD
4gb Corsair DDR800 6400 C4 RAM
Rest is pretty irrelevant

Check your ram timings, voltages, seating and cooling, and lastly if all else fails, check for an update for your BIOS.

I'm not sure how I should edit my RAM timings.

Make sure you have the latest BIOS v2004. Under "JumperFree Configuration" the "AI Overclocking" is set to "Manual", the "FSB/CPU External Frequency Sync" is set to "333" and the "DRAM Frequency" is set to "DDR2-667".You may also need to set your memory timings manually, which is given by the manufacturer of the RAM.

You should try leaving the ram timings on spd, and turning off hyperpath, and speedstep, then see if you can overclock manually, in my experience it seems to overclock a lot better with hyperpath off and ram timings on spd.

A few places that will help guide you.
