ok flashed up to 1013 (that was my first BIOS flash, scared the crap out of me from hearing of all the flashes gone wrong) I got everything back at stock settings and my BIOS voltage is 1.325v and CPU-Z says 1.304v. Is that better?

When you say "my BIOS voltage is 1.325v", do you mean that the vCore setting in your BIOS is set to 1.325v, or your BIOS has a status page and it's readout it 1.325v?
With the two boards I alternate back-and-forth on, the status page in the BIOS will be about 0.02v lower than the actual setting, and CPU-Z will say the same thing as the BIOS status page while my CPU is idle.

All those extra frames do is create screen tearing. 4) FireGL and Quadro GPUs are for workstations running AutoCAD and that's why they cost so much. 5) Empty RAM is a bad thing. You want your programs and games utilizing everything they can.

And forget the vdroop mod suggestion from above (it is almost scarey how quickly that was posted and believed). What you were/are seeing at idle is certainly not vdroop. Vdroop is the loss of cpu voltage when the cpu is under a load. It has nothing to do with the cpu voltage at idle. Period.....end of discussion. That is not to say that your board/cpu combination does not have some amount of vdroop, they all do to some extent. But whether it is worth modifying the board to fix, or whether or not it really causes any problem are a completely different issue.
There are some situations with some combinations of motherboards and cpus where cpuz just does not report the correct voltage. But it sounds like you made a lot of progress with that new bios.

You will be fine. Slow and easy is the way to go. And forget what cpuz says your voltage is unless of course you have a stability problem when you are overclocked and you have to troubleshoot what is causing it. Then you may care if you see a vdroop, but most of the time you can fix the affects of that with a simple bump up a notch in voltages (as long as you are still within the acceptable temps).

brought my settings back to my old ones, 350x8 used to require 1.4v on the BIOS, now im so-far-so-good at stock voltage.
