Hello all!
__________________I just built my new computer using the xfx 680i lt mobo and q6700, I know this is not the best combo for overclocking but I would like to try for 3.0-3.2 ghz. So, I have been told that i need to update to the newest bios before i start overclocking... How do i update the bios? Is there a link that explains how? I have a file for p31 bios, i just dont know how to apply it... any help is appreciated... thanks!!! <-noob

look on XFX's site for the bios. but i dont think you "need" the newest bios, ive never upgraded mine. im sure that will hit 3.33ghz (333x10), it shouldnt be to hard, since alot of cpus have a 333fsb stock (1333 quad pumped)

with a bit of research. I've reached 2.94ghz. vcore at 1.269. cpu fsb at 294 mhz. memory at 882 (pc-6400 ddr2) mhz. still trying for 3ghz. come across instability at cpu fsb 298-299. how much more can i go on voltage without having to worry.
