Default help with asus rampage bios

i upgraded my bios to version 0403. the latest one i could find. the stock bios that came with the motherboard was workin fine. now everytime i load windows, it takes 10 times as long. whats the easiest way to revert back to the old bios. any help will b appreciated.

You can flash to the older bios like you did your new one,just do it from bios, not in windows.

Yes, as a rule from now onwards I would not recommend updating to newer bios releases. While they often state that they are fixes for various things they can create conflicts with the peticular mb.

If you can flash from bios...if not then do it in windows. There are some really good things that have come from having a non removable bios chip...one of the bad things is you can't replace them anymore by exchanging out the old ones.

This is something that has saved Asus and many co.s alot of shipping $ and time in sending bios chips to folks.

ty gents. that worked like a charm. i downgraded my bios rom thru the bios easy flash app.
