Zalman 9700? Its not going to give you much leeway with a 65nm quad. I would suggest you invest in a better cpu cooler or be happy with around 3.2 ghz.

id agree, i have a 65nm quad, and it runs only 5c under thermal spec at 3.2ghz. this thing is definitely no TRUE, but hey. it looks cool, if that counts for anything. If i could do it again, id buy myself a TRUE, or maybe a black one.

I have built a few and never had any problems...i just left the bios settings at default on the timigs and voltages...so i'd be happy with even like 2.6 on the cpu...i am a trader and just need stable and dependable...those are the objectives

Thank you for any help...
