When I enter my bios it will not let me edit the processor or RAM entries. I am running a core 2 duo (e2180) 2.0 ghz. My bios is revision 5.04 (11/02/07).
__________________Is there a trick to editing these entries? If not I need help with flashing the bios or a good recommendation of a supplier for one that will help me overclock my processor. ![]()

The Odd Mod
![]() |
ok, I will need a whole lot more information
![]() First, please fill out your system specs here so we know what kind of hardware we're talking about. All you told us that it's an AMI bios... now, there are a ton of versions (just as many as there are motherboard models using AMI as their BIOS), so the make and model of your motherboard is essential information. Given your question, I am guessing your have a DELL, HP, eMachines, or other brand pre-build machine. If this is the case, you cannot overclock using the BIOS, and flashing is NOT recommended at all!
