Default Bios update...worth it?

sorry...but this question must have been asked a dozen times....
but i have little time to go googling it...so taking the fast way.

ok...this is the first time i am gonna update my bios...and bit lost here and there...
when i go to download a new bios....which one do i choose...must i choose the latest one only...or all the newer ones compared to mine?
and does it really give better performance...especially Overclocking?

for example, refer here and tell me which one should i choose?
http://support.asus.com/download/dow...Language=en-us
right now...my ram (4gb Crucial Ballistics) only gives a 5.6 in Vista Rating...how much should it give?

and which methods do u guys use to update the best?

thx so much guyz.....

Default

Usually get the latest bios that fixes any errors or updates the motherboard may have, i.e. support for newer cpus. I usually wait till final bios releases come out, beta versions are still being tested. Based on the descriptions I don't see any improvements for this board, except support for newer cpus.

The best method to flash your bios is by using a flash drive or a floppy disk.

Also what version of bios do you have?

And you probably won't get any more performance increase from the updates bios in this case.
