Dissapearing BIOS revision. ASUS P5Q
Hey guys.
I was looking to see if there where any good updates out for my motherboard BIOS wise. I came across a new 1104 Bios that improved memory capability. I thought COOL why not. So I flashed away and everything is awesome. Overclock is back up and everything seems great...Infact perhaps a little faster. However what is odd is that Asus have removed that BIOS revision from there site and you can now only get the 1004 BIOS. Anybody have a clue ?

Thats what I was initially thinking. I have yet to find an issue with the BIOS and my system though.

I had that as well with my P5E3, I think they are just having issues with there website.
It reappeared later the same week, nothing changed (I re-downloaded it to be sure, but it's exactly the same).

Oh right cool. Well like I say its not causing me any problems so thats cool . Perhaps it will just re-appear later on then.

nice I didn't like the older bios for the p5q pro. I may get this one up and running so I can flash the bios

had the same issue with the bios update showing up and then being gone with my p5k-dlx
__________________I figured check while I'm at work and noticed hey they have a new version 902. figured ok when I get home I'll download it. get home and 902 doesn't exist and figure ***. go to work a day or two later and figure hey I'll check again. it's there this time around though so I just downloaded it then and emailed it to myself. when I went back home though this time it showed that the new 902 bios is still there. think they just had a little glitch in the system.
