Default Flash my P5Q to Maximus II Formula

I have heard people mention flashing my P5Q to either a P5Q Premium or Maximus II Formula.
They have the same chipsets so it would make sense to me.

Anyone have experience with this or know how it works?

You can't. I believe it was a certain Asus board that could be flashed to a higher end Asus board (Maxiumus Formula or something).

why would even want to try this? you have to use the bios that was made for your board, if you do a bios update you have to make sure its the right one "i check and double check" you have to if not it could cost you lots of trouble.
what also would hope to gain? yes it might seem to work at first but you could end up with an unstable setup, also what would your chipset drivers think.
