You'd be better off getting an EVGA, XFX or BFG 780i mobo. The Asus P5N-T Deluxe is very unstable and extremely difficult and time consuming to overclock. I think I'm going to sell mine on ebay and look into getting a P45 or X48 board.

I was wondering if my bios version is the reason for my stability problems. Would a different version than 1303 be better...perhaps 1106?

Ive had this board now for 2 weeks and its fine, the second i got it just whacked up the FSB, set Vcore to 1.5v and left everything on else AUTO and its perfect.

Run a 1951mhz rated FSB on it alllllll day long with no problems at all.

Maybe you guys should try a newer BIOS?

I have BIOS 1303

I have one with a Q9550 1.25V Vcore, 1066 ram @ 5-5-5-15 2.21V, C1E(etc...) disabled, rest set to auto. 3.54GHz 38C(ish) Idle, 51C(ish) load. 1MHz above, though, and it wont post. I don't like messing with much else other than vcore and ram.

I have the P5N72-T Premium and I am pretty sure it is practically the same board. I had a nightmare with mine when I first got it but found it was due to my own stupidity. I had a fudged up Orthos install that failed blend no matter what. Took me a week of headaches playing in the BIOS to finally try another stress testing program and found she was stable since first boot. Now that I've been running for awhile, I can say my board is rock solid and has been on without reboot at settings in sig now for weeks and no issues at all. I leave it on all the time, despite that news thread the other day!
