Default Flashed BIOS - Can't Boot

I flashed the BIOS to the latest BIOS rev 1503 via ASUS Update (in Windows). It said that the flash was successful and that I needed to reboot for the changes to take effect. I was asked if I wanted to reboot now; I said yes. The reboot failed and now every boot fails. I don't get any beeps and no image on the monitor. I've tried clearing the CMOs to fix this but had no luck. Has anybody else got any ideas to fix this? How can I remove my CMOS battery?
Help with this would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

I think its a common problem that the ASUS bios update through windows fails a lot.

The cmos battery is usually located near the cmos jumper. It's pretty easy to pop it out.

The battery usually has a little catch on 1 side. Just push that with a pen or similar and it should pop out.

Well whats done is done, just get the word out that windows flashing is risky.

Do as other have stated and clear CMOS. First unplug the computer from the wall, then press the power button to discharge any residual power in the board. Then remove the battery for a good while (some say an hour, others say over night).

That wasn't my thread. I just posted in somebody elses thread, only seeing that tutorial after I'd flashed and been very unsuccessful lol. I thought it would work as it worked fine last time; in fact it's worked fine twice before. I'll certainly be following that tutorial next time I flash the BIOS lol - if removing the battery overnight even works...

My apologies, you are correct. I will say that people who recommend windows flashing really should inform members of the risk involved. I really hope the CLR CMOS works for you! The ASUS warranty is good for 3 years, so worst case is you RMA it. They base the RMA warranty off of the serial number on the board, so you dont even need a receipt.

After a lot of fiddling I finally managed to get the battery out. Fingers crossed that when I put it back in everything will be ok again; I'm doubting it though . If this works what BIOS version would I be on? If I RMA'ed my motherboard they'd probably just fix it wouldn't they as they would know the exact problem? I wouldn't want a new motherboard as that would mean re-installing Windows; or with a new motherboard would I be able to keep the same Windows?

actually its better to remove the battery frist then drain the power. hold it for 5-10 seconds. then you dont have to wait hours. you just put it back together.
