Default How to recover from bad flash
So I'm planning on flashing my motherboard bios to accept new 45nm processor chips.

But just to be safe, how do you recover from a bad flash?

if you fail to flash the BIOS, unless you have a secondary BIOS chip (like the higher end Asus motherboards), you're stuck with a bricked motherboard... in that case, most companies will either reflash it for you or stick a new BIOS chip in it for a price... usually around $30-50...

....If its got a removable bios chip..some are soldered on..in that case..you will have to rma or get it repaired from someone who specializes in that area.
