hi,
with an intel motherboard x48bt2, and a processor quad 9650, which ddr3 is better for overclocking? if I use a ddr3 1600, is it possible to reach 1600 frequently for the system as the motherboard support 1600 but the cpu is still 1333. thanks |

Just pick up some nice Patriot DDR3-1600.
We pretty much share the same BIOS so trust me, you have plenty of options - when you enter it, the main/advanced screen (the one all the way to the left) will show you what everything is running at SO when you make adjustments in the memory performance area you can check it at the main window before saving. You'll have options to run 800/1066/1333/1600 with straps of 266/333/400 - ex: if you set it to 1333/266 you'll have accidentally set the ram to something crazy like 3000mhz and it won't boot lol - so check it on the main screen first.
