I'm getting ready to build my rig and want to get everything in order. What is the latest Bios released. Where do I download it at? I'm a NOOB never flashed a bios before. Is it easy?
__________________I've been to Evga website Downloaded E175_SZ1I iso file bios update. I tried to extract it using WinRAR it doesn't look like it did anything. I burnt it to a disk anyway and still looks like an empty file. Any thoughts

This is right from Evga's site. Did you follow the directions?
"CD/DVD Installation - Recommended installation method * Download the following .iso file: E175_SZ1I.iso * Use a CD Burning software to burn the .iso image onto a blank CD (Nero, Alochol 120%, MagicISO etc.) * Restart machine, and set the CD Drive as the primary boot device. * The BIOS flash process will begin, Press “Y” to program BIOS. * After flash remove the CD, power off PC Completely. * Turn on the PC and load defaults in BIOS."

I use a flash drive to flash my bios.
1. download 750i FTW bios and save file to desktop 2. insert flash drive 3. click MY COMPUTER and right click on the flash drive device 4. click format and then under FILE SYSTEM click FAT32 5. start the reformat (not quickformat) 6. once its done, drag the bios file onto the drive 7. restart computer and enter bios from here on, im not familiar with the rest of the process but you should be able to get to a flash option and then select the drive, and then select the bios file.

You don't need to extract anything. Sounds like you did it correct. It may look empty because the files might be hidden (not sure, I have mine set to always show hidden files). Just be sure you have it set to boot from CD drive Another option is to press Esc a few times on boot. That will bring up the one time boot menu. Just use arrow keys to select your CD drive and hit enter. That should boot from CD. Just follow onscreen instructions and you should be fine. If it does not boot, download again and burn the ISO onto a CD (whatever program you have should have an option to burn an ISO). If you don't have a burning program, Deep Burner is a good free program.
