Default EVGA 780i cannot enable SLI mem

I just added two more sticks of the same RAM to my board and now I cannot enable SLI ready memory. Anyone know why?

Take out your old ram and use only the new ram to make sure they work with SLI memory enabled. That should help isolate it to the RAM or motherboard.

Is your other RAM SLI-Ready RAM?

Also, I've always felt like SLI-Ready RAM was a scam, it really doesn't add that much more.

Just updated to P08 bios and still cannot enable it in the bios. My RAM is SLI ready I have Dominator 8GB DDR2 PC8500. The only thing I haven't tried is to use the new sticks on there own. I'll try it later and update y'all.
Thanks for all the replies!

I don't really think you should worry about this, my Ballistix were certified but I never enabled EPP. I just tweaked the RAM settings myself.

The answer is: The 780i only supports SLI Memory pre-setting with only 2 DIMMs and not DIMMs.

+1 rep

I set my RAM manually at 5 5 5 15 20 2T @ 1066. That's pretty good for 8gb right?
