Smile Intel Pentium D E2400 on Intel D945GCNL Chipset

I have 1 GB RAM and running Windows Vista Ultimate x86
I dont have a graphics card but cooling system is very good.

Can i overclock my CPU ?

Nope, sorry bud.


That Intel D945GCNL motherboard will not allow overclock. No intel branded motherboard, besides the BadAxe series and Skulltrail, will allow overclocking.

You can overclock it but you would have to do a pin mod to the cpu. I have an emachines with the D945GCL motherboard and when that comp was my main rig I did the bsel fsb strap mod on my e4400 and had it overclocked to 2.66 from 2.0.

The D945GCL with the pin mod will overclock any e2xxx or e4xxx series cpu except the ones with high multi's.
