Hey guys, one day I got home and decided to boot up my HTPC and all these weird characters with different colors were in the bios post messages. I thought eh that's kinda weird, so I windows started to boot and as soon as the windows splash screen pass my cursor showed up like it usually does, then the screen just goes blank.
I can boot in safe mode with no problems. I tried clearing the CMOS, nothing. I'm guessing the bios is corrupt? The next thing I might try is flashing the bios but I figured I would post here to get some advice. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

If it boots in Safe mode, it is most likely a windows error.
I suggest backing up your data and formatting the hard drive. RE-install your windows and hope for the best. ( It always works out when my stuff is all messed up.)

Your BIOS is corrupted. This can happen when you set unstable clocks for example... You should attempt to flash it with a newer or equivalent version and also replace the CMOS battery if it's been out of use for a long time.
