Default EVGA 750i SLI FTW Overclocking noob question
i have a noob question
on my MoBo it says that my MAX FSB is 1333 or 1066MHz

what happens if i go over that? i dont really wanna try incase it blows up lol

It will be fine, that board can easily handle 1600mhz+ FSB

its just there to protect the board's chipset, like they figure you shouldnt run 24/7 on those mhz. but just for ocing it's fine.

It doesn't mean anything lol

With a Quad core the limit seems to be 450FSBx4, or 1800MHz, although I'm testing at 1850MHz right now (fingers crossed). I run 24/7 at 1800 so you should have no problem going above the stock 1333MHz

re apply thermal paste and re seat your heatsink
