yes it was now i'm justing useing one card and 12 ram its flying

So the single card that you are using now is the older one ?

Put the new card in as a single card, to test it and see how it runs.

If it runs ok , then it looks like the main problem is getting the 2 cards to run in sli

Did you say your Asus card died? That sucks, but maybe you won't have any more problems? It's definitely either ram or graphics related IMO.

It sounds like the ASUS GPU but if the sound card died then it could be the motherboard.

As I suggested I recommend you take the whole machine apart and slowly and carefully re-build it.
