on the gigabyte's site it says that the e5200 is supported on that mobo (GA-EP43-S3L) since the bios version F7. now what version is there by default (bought couple days ago) and if needed to reflash, will i need to start the system at first with another cpu, then reflash and then change to the one i want to use.

you dont need to start a system with another cpu, P43's handle 45nm/65nm processors out of the box. p35's on the other hand needs to have an updated bios
my friend has the gap43 s3l and ran an e5200 with the stock bios . im pretty sure you wont need another cpu

thanks, it was just a bit awkward that most needed f3 and 5200 showed f7, so i thought there may be a problem. thanks again
